5 reasons it’s worth investing in your logo!

While there are many tools and online resources available out there today to help you create a quick and more affordable logo.

I wanted give our designers a chance to explain why it's still important to invest in your logo.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As designers, our main goal is to help you! We want to be able to help your business grow and owning a business is an investment. So why not invest in your logo too?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A lot of the times I hear that a 'logo is too expensive'. But I definitely feel, the definition of expensive is relative. We as designers understand that sometimes it's not a priority for your business at this point in time to invest too much into a properly designed logo and that's completely fine.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

However, if you can create a logo that is tailored and aligns with your business. This can help bring a lot more value to your brand and attract the right audience from the very beginning.

Not convinced yet? Here are 5 reason why it's worth investing in your logo

1. First impression is everything

Your logo is just one element of your brand, however it is a really important part of it. This is because the logo will be the face of your brand.

It is the first thing your ideal audience sees to get an understanding of what your business is about.

Just like when you noticing the clothing or hairstyle someone has when you’ve met them for the first time.

2. A good logo will reflect your brand

A good logo should be unique to your brand and your business. It shouldn’t look like every other logo that has been done before and is already out there in the world.

The logo, along with your branding would reflect what your business stands for and all its characteristics. This is to ensure when your audience sees your brand, they can already get a feel for what your business is about.

3. It‘s the foundation for the rest of your business

During the design process, we as designers extract many questions and deep diving into your business values and beliefs. Helping you draw out your main brand characteristics and personality that you want to transfer out to the world. Which we then translate it into your logo.

Once this has been established, it allows your logo become a starting point in helping you build something more consistent for your brand.

4. There is a long process behind designing a logo

In the previously slide, we’ve briefly mentioned a bit of the behind the scenes of designing your logo process.

Rather than jumping straight into desiging something for the sake of having a logo. From the initial consultation, we like to make sure everything aligns with your goals and the logo helps attack your challenges in your business (and we’ll dig deeper if we need).

The process also includes other details like choosing the right typeface, colour, strokes, curves, shapes and texture. These are all part of many other considerations in designing your logo.

5. It’s and upfront cost for years to come

It may seem like a large cost, especially when it is a new business. But it is a worthy one to invest in.

Rather than paying for something for $10 and having to redo it again the year after. Getting your brand and logo right from the get go, really does make a difference for many years to come!

It will help you build brand recognition with your audience too.
